Maxine Marcella She produces art in various media including folk art painting. After many years of painting she is now busy creating dolls with sidekicks and si-fi creatures too. She has shared this particular series of sculptured dolls with us in a celebration of life and the wise journey that women take along the path of aging. Maxine Marcella
For her art dolls Maxine Marcella builds wire armatures and utilizes sculpy clay for the bodies. Great detail is involved in forming the hands and all face work is hand painted. Clothing for her dolls are best described as altered art inspired.
